Five-lobed spool bowl of painted porcelain. A phoenix is painted on the bottom. Along the inner edge is painted an underglaze blue strip in which recessed medallions with alternately a green rosette, a red rosette and a red grass necks. On the outer wall, three times a symmetrical tendril motif in underglaze blue is painted on either side of a red flower. The bowl is a copy of a Japanese Imari example. The bowl is marked.
