Sheet with four oval representations, each with inscription and date in Latin: at the top left, Saint Alexander Carbonarius who trades his mitre against the simple hat of a wanderer or marcher, at the top right saint Clara of Assisi with a monstrans, at the bottom left of Saint Digna with three holy companions praying at a sarcophagus, at the bottom right of Saint Concordia who is tortured with whips. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian holidays of the year. Four scenes of one record are printed on one sheet. Including the accompanying title page and frontispiece, a total of 124 records (490 performances) are involved. The three records with the last 12 scenes (the changing Christian holidays) have been cut to 12 small pictures in the third state, and published with a separate title page.
