Sheet with four oval representations, each with inscription and date in Latin: at the top left Saint Anastasius as pope pointing to a kneeling man, at the top right Saint Theodora kneeling in front of her executioner who draws his sword, at the bottom left Saint Vitalis and his wife Saint Valeria with palm branches, at the bottom right the Saint Peter Martyr of Verona who is attacked by a man with a sword. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian holidays of the year. There are always four scenes of one plate printed on one sheet. Including the accompanying title page and frontispiece, there are a total of 124 records (490 performances). The three slides with the last 12 scenes (the changeable Christian holidays) have been cut into 12 small pictures in the third state, and published with a separate title page.
