Sheet with four oval representations, each with inscription and date in Latin: at the bottom left the Saint Barnabas who is stoned to death, at the bottom right saint Onyphrius the Great as a hermit in the wilderness, at the top left Saint Anthony of Padua with a flower in one hand and a book with the Christ child on the other hand, at the top right Saint Basil the Great as bishop who is given a pen. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian holidays of the year. There are always four scenes of one plate printed on one sheet. Including the accompanying title page and frontispiece, there are a total of 124 records (490 performances). The three slides with the last 12 scenes (the changeable Christian holidays) have been cut into 12 small pictures in the third state, and published with a separate title page.
