Sheet with four oval representations, each with inscription and date in Latin: at the top left Saint Mathildis kneeling in front of an altar, at the top right Saint Longinus kneeling in armor and with spear, at the bottom left a saint bound to a pole (Cyriacus, Largus or Emerald of Rome) who gets boiling water or boiling oil poured over the head, at the bottom right Saint Heribertus in bishop's clothing near a building. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian holidays of the year. There are always four scenes of one plate printed on one sheet. Including the accompanying title page and frontispiece, there are a total of 124 records (490 performances). The three slides with the last 12 scenes (the changeable Christian holidays) have been cut into 12 small pictures in the third state, and published with a separate title page.
