Salt vessel of tin, three-part, cylindrical with a stretched bell shape, anonymous, c. 1590 - c. 1596 Canvas Print
Salt vessel of tin, three-part, cylindrical with a stretched bell shape. The two lower parts have a cavity at the top for salt or herbs. On the middle part fits an onion-shaped lid with a round ball on top that ends in a peak and in which there are four holes. This part could probably be unscrewed originally. The bottom of this consists of a pewter plate. Traces of silver plating are visible.
