Part of the series of fifteen drawings for the plates of the sled shipping on 24 January 1776 organized by the Leiden society Veniam Pro Laude on the occasion of the Second Centenary of the Leiden Dismay (3 October 1574) and the establishment of the University of Leiden (8 February 1575).
