Sluitgewicht van zestien Hollands Troois pond, George Weinmann (possibly), before 1614 Canvas Print
The object consists of sixteen parts: ten weights (the two smallest of which are missing and the valve are missing), the container and the lid (which form the house), a hinge, a locking bracket, two handles, the handle. The center point can be seen at the tray, the lid and the weights. Tray and lid have narrow ribs, in which a cord motif is punched. The intermediate surfaces have grooved rings, a punched ornament composed of bows and a punched ornament with a star. The hinges and the hengselaan moves are riveted. The hinge is decorated with three heads at the end of the wall and extends on the lid into two attachment parts in the form of two dragons, the ends of which extend towards the hinge at a sharp angle. In between, the button fits from the handle. The locking bracket consists on the lid of a dragon with curled fish tail and further of a profiled piece, with which it can be fixed to the wall of the container. The hengselaan moves are shaped like two mermaids. Dragon heads can be recognized in the handle, it ends in a hexagonal bud. On the lid, the following signs are struck on either side of a locking hinge: on the right an I, a state lion between a G and a G, three times a head of a black man, the year 1670; on the left a state lion, an L, a French lily, the number 16, the years 1614 and 1675; at the back, to the right of the hinge a state lion between a G and a G, the year 1654; on the left the year 1690. In the bottom of the container a state lion with AGG, 8 (=8 pounds) and 256 (= 256 leads); in the bottom of the container the following characters are struck: the calibration letters Y and S, a French lily, a state lion with SGN, the calibration letters OZABC, a state lion with TAN, the calibration letters GHIKL. At the first weight in the soil a state lion with AGG and 128 (= 128 lead), a 4 on a climbing lion, on the edge 1690, at the bottom of the bottom the calibration letters Y and S, a French lily, a state lion with SGN, the calibration letters OZABCF, a state lion with TAN, the calibration letters GHIKL. On the second weight in the bottom 64 (=64 lead), on the edge 1690, at the bottom the same marks as at the bottom of the house and of the first weight. On the third weight - the pound - in the bottom 32 (=32 lead), and an I, a state lion with AGG, a French lily, on the edge 1690, at the bottom the same marks as on the previous weights. On the fourth weight, which is much lighter in color, in the bottom 16, the calibration letter I, a French lily, the state lion with TAN, at the bottom the calibration letters KL. At the fifth weight in the bottom 8, a state lion with PILC, the calibration letter Y and a French lily, at the bottom the calibration letters A to L. At the sixth weight in the bottom 4, a state lion with SGN, the calibration letter O and the French lily, at the bottom the calibration letters A to L. On the seventh weight in the bottom 2, a state lion with SGN, the calibration letter F and the French lily, at the bottom the calibration letters G to L. At the eighth weight in the bottom I, a state lion with PILC, the calibration letters Z and X and the French lily, at the bottom the calibration letters A to L. At the ninth weight in the bottom a French lily. The two smallest weights, i.e. 1/4 lead, 1/8 lead and the valve 1/8 lead, are missing. The protrusion on the wall of the container, with which the locking hinge is secured, is bent. Various weights have been judged by the calibration master measuring lead.
