A soldier, at his feet, to the right, with a musket (a certain type of firearm) leaning on his left shoulder (no. 34), ca. 1600. In his left hand, in addition to the flask of the musket, also a burning fuse and a furket (musket fork). It is therefore (almost) the same position as the one shown on the second print of the series. Bottom right incorrectly numbered 2, with the pen improved in 34. Plate 34 in the instructions for handling the musket: Corte onderrechtinghe op de figuerliicke afbeeldinghe, so much aengaet the right ghebruyck vant Musquet.
