A soldier, at his feet, to the right, with a musket (a certain type of firearm) leaning on his left shoulder (no. 34), ca. 1600. In his left hand, in addition to the flask of the musket, also a burning fuse and a furket (musket fork). It is therefore (almost) the same position as the one shown on the second print of the series. At the bottom right the incorrect numbering 2 erased and renumbered 34. Plate 34 in the instructions for handling the musket: Corte onderrechtinghe op de figuerlicke afbeeldinghe, so much aengaet the right ghebruyck of Musquet.
