A soldier on guard, at his feet out, to the right, holding a musket (a certain type of firearm) by his right side, his right index finger on the trigger, his left hand around the fork of the furket (musket fork) on which the barrel, directed diagonally upwards, rests (no. 37), ca. 1600.
