A soldier, at his feet, to the right, who places a musket (a certain type of firearm) with his right hand on his left shoulder, pointing the barrel diagonally upwards. In his left hand a burning fuse and a furket (musket fork) (no. 33), ca. 1600. Plate 33 in the instructions for handling the musket: Corte onderrechtinghe on the figuerliicke afbeeldinghe, so much aengaet the right ghebruyck vant Musquet.
