A court garden. In the foreground is Susanna, who wants to take a bath in a closed part of the garden. Her maids have just closed the gate of the garden and are on their way to pick up balm and oils. (Daniel 13:17-18). Two judges, watching the naked Susanna, emerge and try to grab her (Daniel 13:20-24). From the house in the background, the inhabitants flow out to see what is going on (Daniel 13:26). Two peacocks (symbol of pride) and two rabbits (symbol of lust) are also depicted. The series shows various aspects of courtship and some examples from the Old Testament.
