Teapot, Fonger Douma (attributed to), 1758 Canvas Print
The round teapot has a low, wide belly and an upward rejuvenating neck. The cast S-shaped spout ends in a dragon's head. The ear composed of C-voluten is decorated at the top with an angel face. The lid knob is shaped like a meerman blowing on a horn. The body and neck of the teapot are decorated with wide ornamentated friezes. They show fields, bounded by kinked S-shaped voluts, and decorated with scales, raised shells and sunflowers.
