The Rotterdam stairwell in the Drucker extension, 1930 - 1935 Canvas Print
Top floor of the stairwell in the Drucker extension, seen to the southwest. This interior comes from a mansion in Rotterdam. Stucco ceiling with built-in wardrobes. Part of the stair baluster is visible at the bottom left. The wall display cases in the corners of the dome hall were installed in 1923; these were removed during the renovation of 1993-1996. Chinese wallpaper is applied to the walls. M.B.: Corner of the domed hall in the Drucker extension, with the richly decoreed banister in the foreground. View of two wall display cases with arrangement of Chinese blue and family-made porcelain (owned by Mr and Mrs Drucker-Fraser) Between the two cabinets, the wall is decorated with Chinese floral wallpaper and a portrait of Liotard. The dome-shaped room, from a Rotterdam 18th century patrician house, gives access to the so-called Drucker extension, which was completed in 1916. The rich stucco decorations symbolize the four seasons. The wall display cases in the corners were built in 1923 with porcelain in the same Louis XV style
