Theatrum anatomicum, anatomical theatre of the University of Leiden, 1609. In the middle a professor (Petrus Paaw?) who teaches anatomical lessons standing behind a table on which a dissected human body; with him is his amanuensis. In the entire amphitheatre between the spectators present, all kinds of skeletons and skeletons of people and animals are set up. Behind the professor a cupboard with medical instruments, on which the inscription Archium Instrumentorum Anatomicorum. In the upper part in the middle a cartouche with a view of the city of Leiden.
