Photo album in band of black moroccan leather. The bracts have a marble motif. The album contains 50 sheets of gold on cut and 106 photos, 2 of which are loose on cardboard. They are mainly city and street views and mountain landscapes in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium. All photos have handwritten captions, running from July 27 to September 1899. These are probably references to the date on which the unknown album author visited the relevant places. Given the Dutch captions and the place where the album was produced (Brussels), this was probably a Flemish traveller.
