Travel album with sights in the Swiss Alps, various makers, c. 1880 Canvas Print
Photo album with leather back and wooden front and back cover. The album originally had two copper locks, one of which is missing. On the front cover, the year 1880 is framed by a wood decoration. The flyleaves are made of changeant paper. The album contains 18 cardboard sheets with gold on cut. It contains 36 cabinet photos in passe-partouts. They are recordings made in the Alps: city and village views, mountain landscapes, hikers and mountaineers. At the front of the album is a commission written "A nos chers Oncle et Tante souvernir de leurs affectionnnés Henri et Marie Lagier". A business card of the latter with a French inscription was also found.
