Vase, bottle-shaped. The belly is decorated all around with three large vignettes in which blue painted scenes taken from an engraving by P.S. Bartoli (1635-1700) after paintings by Juilio Romano in No Sala di Constantino in the Vatican. Between these vignettes, China-inspired horizontal edges of flower, leaf and band motifs in red, green, blue and gold. On foot and shoulder such horizontal "Hoppesteijn edges". On the neck two flower bouquets. Marked with the monogram W considered that of Jacob Wemmersz. Hoppesteijn from 1664-1674, owner of 't Jonge Moriaanshoofd". The neck of the vase has been restored.
