View of the auxiliary track of the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij near Delft, anonymous, 1847 - 1849 Canvas Print
View of the so-called Laantje van Van der Gaag, a detour in the railway line between Delft and Schiedam. Because Van der Gaag refused to relinmine his land, the railway had to be built in a large bend around the plot. The Expropriation Act owes its origin to this case. The trial on this matter was decided in June 1847.
