Allegorical performance on the occasion of the wedding of Johanna Pauw and Ysbrand Vincent. On top of a wine barrel is a peacock, with Amor on his back. The peacock refers to the name of the wife. The winter-clad figure, who tries to set ice blocks on fire, refers to the first name of the husband Ysbrand and the name of his mother Yver (From the French word for winter: hiver). The central representation is surrounded by ornaments and vines. At the top of the initials of the couple and a banderol with the motto: Virtus sine Superbia, et Voluptas Sine Libidine, Animos Aeternis Flammis Accendent.
