Parma as Hercules with club and shield is pointed to a rock by the personification of (Catholic) Religion to the temple of virtue. In front of him lie defeated on the ground Envy (Invidia), Unvroominess (Impietas) with a broken statue of saints and Hostile Force (Fish Inimica). On the palm tree on the right hang the coat of arms of Parma and images of the siege of Antwerp and the ship bridge in 1585.
