Portrait of Guillaume Huymans, the husband of the eldest daughter of artist Cornelis Schut. Portrait seen from the front, dressed according to the fashion of ca. 1640-'50. On his left leg he is attached to the globe with a chain. In the four corners of the print cartouches held by putti. The cartouches contain images of the four extremes. The upper cartouches the judgment and the sky and the lower cartouches death and hell. The print has an emonishing caption: 'G. Huymans wilt uw toch onbinde van des Werels bant ofte sult uw bedroghe vinden ende brengen inden brant, maer peyst op de vier vuyterste ende en sult niet sondighen tot Brussel 't Jaer 1647'.
