Allegory at the marriage of William V and Wilhelmina of Prussia in 1767 and the birth of Prince William Frederick on August 24, 1772. Two performances: at the top of an allegory in which the princess is presented with the sealed book of marital happiness from wisdom (Minerva) standing on a pedestal. This also includes the Virtue and the city maiden of The Hague. The princess is crowned by piety. In a smaller performance at the bottom, seven half-naked women, provincial maidens(?), dance in front of Prince William V on the occasion of the birth of Prince William Frederik. On the sheet under the plate the assignment to the magistrate of The Hague in a verse of fourteen lines.
