Anti-Roman cartoon ridiculing the election of a cardinal as pope may refer to the appointment of Pope Clement XIII in 1758. Centrally, a cardinal receives the papal tiara of Fortuna. The naked Fortuna standing on a sphere surrounded by allegorical figures including: Abundance, Fame, War, Blind Frenzy, Stupidity, Pride, Envy, Love and Lust. On the far left the expelled Religion accompanied by an angel and child with lamb and bible sitting in the light of the All-Seeing Eye. In the background on the right a temple in Rome where a wolf or fox sits on the throne as pope, surrounded by monsters.
