Arrangement of Delft pottery in the Gallery of Honour in 1929, 1929 Canvas Print
Hall of Fame seen to the southwest with at the end of the gallery the passage to the Night Watch Room. The floor of the gallery and cabinets was brought to the same level in 1925 and provided with parquet. Except on the half-columns, the vaulted fries and on the friezes under the cob frames of the cabinets, the decoration paintings have disappeared. The collection of Delft pottery (mainly the John F. Loudon collection, donated to the state by his heirs by his heirs) is displayed here in the hall of fame in a series of triangular display cases rounded at the ends that also mask the radiators and central heating. In the foreground is a 17th century table on which a statue is set up. In the eight side-compartimentes, the furniture of the 17th century, which was scattered more widely over the floors and the side wings of the building, was merged with the more decorative paintings.
