On the left, a band preceded by sergeant tambourine. In the middle of the foreground are the bodies of some fallen Belgians and a dead horse. Under the title a four-line description of the performance and the assignment to the 'Heroes of Hasselt and Leuven', broken by the Metal Cross. See also the pendant.
