Beggar with a Wooden Leg, Albert Jansz Vinckenbrinck (attributed to), c. 1650 Canvas Print

He stands on the right leg and leans on two crutches; the painfully departed face is used to the right. Over a cap he wears a large pilgrim's hat, the stored edge of which shows a shell against two crosswise arrows. His ragged, not entirely definable clothing includes a tube with frayed sleeves and ditto pants. On the leg is a saggy stocking and on the foot a muzzle. Around his neck hangs a large bag, the contents of which protrude through a hole to the outside; around the waist a belt, to which a messchede(?).
