Bell-shaped porcelain lid head, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, brown, black and gold. On the wall a symbolic representation with three putti, one of which blows bubbles through a pipe; for them a wicker basket, pyramid, skull, mask, crown, globe, books and other objects; the inner edge with a band of leaf vines and two radiant suns with a face. Representation after a drawing by Jacob de Wit (1695-1754), 'Allegory on transience'. The corresponding lid has number AK-NM-13814. A crack in the wall of the head. European performance in enamel colours.
