On the shelf a leaf-shaped cartouche with a rooster on a rock near flowering peony plants, around the leaf napkin; next to the rooster an inscription reading 'Gong ming fu gui jiachen huazhao yie yu Zhujiang jingshe', 'Honor and wealth. Written on the day of flowers in the year jiachen [1724] in a beautiful house by the Zhujiang River', and a seal mark 'Baishi', 'white stone'; on the edge a band of napkin work interspersed with a flower vine in a cartouche.
