Bell-shaped porcelain head, painted on the glaze in black and gold. On the wall of the head a medallion with a portrait of Lieve Geelvinck (176-1743), mayor of Amsterdam and one of the directors of the V.O.C., around the portrait an inscription 'THE HONORABLE LORD Mr. LIEVE GEELVINCK', the inscription is interrupted by his coat of arms; the inner edge with a decorative band in the Viennese Du Paquier style.
