Bust of Piet Heyn, Hendrick de Keyser (II) (attributed to), 1636 Canvas Print
The head, slightly to the left, shows a toggle and a pointed beard. From the shoulders, the image narrows downwards and turns into a winged mascaron in quality, which continues in the pedestal made of wood. He wears a wide pleat collar over a neck mountain and a doublet with pointed buttons and 'with france cords'. Under the neck mountain, a serrated edge of 'leather' emerges. The eight-sided pedestal has a wreath of flowers and leaves at the top with a drooping bow on the back and a drooping accanthus leaf at the bottom. On the back of the collar dated: 1636.
