According to the accompanying text, the woman is dressed in a 'robe à la Turque' of striped satin with tow. She wears a fichu, bodice with three-quarter sleeves, pleated collar and double cuffs and a white skirt with scalloped hem. On the head a "Bonnet à la Turque" of the "demoiselle Roussaud, au coin de la rue du Théatre Francais". Accessory lengths: earrings, bracelet.
