Woman in négligé. According to the accompanying text, she is wearing a 'new robe and chemise'. On the head a 'Bonnet and Pouf' from gaze d'Italie', topped with a bow in 'queue-de-Serin'. Gown with double collar and large strips (falbala) of tafside in light purple. Cuffs of linen. The gown is closed from the front with a bow in 'queue-de-Serin'. Shoes of satin in the same color, with a strip of black ribbon on the instep. The print is part of the 7th Cahier from Cabinet des Modes ou les Modes Nouvelles. The series consists of 72 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, November 15, 1785 - November 1, 1786.
