Siege and shelling of Steenwijk by the State Army under Prince Maurice and surrender of the Spanish occupiers, 4 July 1592. To the right of the center the elevated earthen wall with wooden tower, a so-called cat, from which the city is shot at. At two places an explosion takes place under the city wall. At the top left, the Spanish troops leave the city. With caption of 12 lines in German and 3 lines in French. Unnumbered.
