Cartoon on Napoleon's exile to Elba, May 1814. Handcuffed, Napoleon is taken away by the devil on cart. The devil sits on a pile of box heads. A woman holds Napoleon a bottle under his nose while she beat him with a rod, carrying a box with a marmot. The car is pulled by Napoleon's four brothers and preceded by General Ney, dressed in rags. In the front is a boar with emperor's crown and scepter. Behind the car four handcuffed French generals. In the foreground walk with the car: rats, a snake, toad, dragon and lizard. Standing on a hill in the background four ensigns of Russia, Prussia, the Netherlands and Great Britain, above them the Fame blows on her trumpet.
