Cartoon on the French plans for an invasion of England, February 1798. A French armed raft sailing under the flags of 'Liberty' and 'Slavery' is pulled towards the country by four English men (Whigs: Bedford, Sheridan, Fox and Tierney) with a cable and a windshield, at the same time a storm (Pitt) blows off the raft of the coast with high waves. At Brest on the other side of the Channel a fiddle playing devil dancing on a guillotine.
