Cartoon on the Orangist bread baker Schreuder on Kattenburg in Amsterdam, 1787, C. Pijper, 1787 Canvas Print
Cartoon on the Orangist bread baker Schreuder on Kattenburg in Amsterdam, whose house was looted on 30 May and which was especially hated because he, like the Leiden baker Adriaan Trago, baked sandwiches as dolls and called Patriotjes. The baker stands on the street in front of his shop and holds up one of his sandwiches, in his hat a flower. Snakes crawl over the ground, the leg and the bread shovel of the baker. On the left some men pointing each other out the house. On the sheet under the plate a verse of twelve lines.
