Cartoon on the examination of the state examination for admission to the university by Minister Thorbecke, by Royal Decree of 1 July 1850. On the left the dream of the student in bed and the sad students who did not pass, on the right the happy students who did pass. At the top, the pupils at the gymnasium are cooked in a large cauldron. According to the inscriptions on this copy, these were supposed to be events in August 1849 and the print would also have been published in 1849.
