Charcoal burner (hiire) of stoneware, painted in underglaze blue. The lower half of the bowl has a ribbed wall, divided into a band of elongated compartments with characters. Above that a band with three birds on a rock or a branch and medallions and cartouches with landscapes, persons or napkin work. The inner border with a wide band with the 'three friends of winter' (bamboo, pine, prunus), with a bird on the prunus branch. The bottom is unglazed. Marked on the underside with a six-character mark in a double circle and an embossed four-character mark. Kyoyaki.
