Porcelain room. Furniture is arranged around the pillars. On the right light from the courtyard and on the left in the background you can see the windows on the street side. Photo from series (nos 117 to 128) of room 203, the porcelain room. (now room M 128 and public restaurant D 125). In 1928 the 'Ceramiekzaal' was renamed 'Gothic Hall'. According to the caption, this series of photographs dates from 1926 (a single photo from this series dates from 1927). Rather dark photo, taken from the west, on the left in the north wall you can see the windows on the street side, also clearly visible is the three-aisled layout of this room. To the right of the columns in the middle of the photo is now room M 128 (print room) between the columns, a wall was erected lengthwise in the length of the room. The public restaurant is now located in the central nave and the north aisle. In this picture you can see not only the different types of columns but also the stone floor.
