Opposite him, Veronica kneels with the sweat cloth in his right hand, which Christ gives her back. Behind Veronica a soldier's armor with a part of a cord in his right hand, and a man, who grimaces with both hands in his mouth, sticking out his tongue. On the far left a woman with a child on her arm, a frontal spectator, an executioner, who holds Christ by the hair and raises his right fist, and a man in a hat, who blows on a schalmei. Under the sweat cloth, a barking, scabroous dog runs to the right. Christ in long robes wears a cord around the waist with a nail block at the hanging end. Veronica with braid has a turban over a cap, a cloth of which runs under the chin.; further puff sleeves, pleated skirt and cloak. The harnessed soldier wears helmet with stored visor and a belt over the shoulders; the other a leather helmet, knitted undergared, over it a two-piece skirt, the front of which is suspended with frills between the strap around his waist, and high boots; the third, after Christ, a chest harness over a coal and a hat. Simon van Cyrene wears a turban over the Jewish hat, yak with puff sleeves, a skirt open to the side and a dagger (?) on a belt; the heraut high hat, overjak with folded sleeves; the spectator a hat, a kind of cape and an obliquely hanging belt, to which bells call (?); the woman with child a braid, turban and chin cloth as Veronica, shoulder collar and cloak, the front and back of which are held together by an agrafe.
