Coat of arms with lions and ears of corn, Hendrick Goltzius, 1579 Canvas Print
Family coat of arms (twice a cross with a lion, twice three ears of corn) in oval. Around the oval an inscription in Dutch in mirror image. Identified in TIB as the coat of arms of Gillis van Breen, probably mainly on the basis of the portrait on the reverse of the medallion. However, the identification of the person portrayed with Van Breen cannot be sustained.
