Catharina Hooft, wife of Cornelis de Graeff. The head in profile is completely to the left, the upper body three-quarters to the left. The hair is held together on the back of the head by a net and to the side by a ribbon. Attached to the net is a large piece of jewelry, composed of precious stones; on a ribbon near the temples hangs an earring, also consisting of precious stones. A double string of pearls adorns the neck. Under a cloak, held together on the shoulder by buttons decorated with precious stones, part of a gown with embroidered edge, and a thin pleated robe is visible. The smooth background is slightly arched. Against the lower edge, a part of a pedestal is indicated with the inscription: CATHARINA HOOFT. VXOR. CORNELII.DE GRAEF. CIC. IC. CLX.
