Master Blaesckake is busy with the 'surgical' procedure of cutting the boulder in a sitting man. Through the open door, a second patient (and woman who is reluctant) is brought in. In the room, the various instruments and the already "cut boulders" show which practices take place here. Here one is not "cured" of his criety by means of retorts and bloodletting, but by a small "operation", through which the boulder, and with it the criety, is removed from the patient's head.
