Sheet with a representation and a description of the Arminian ramp in Leiden. The ramp was erected on 5 October 1617 in the Breestraat near the town hall to protect the remonstrant-minded midship and hostages. The performance shows the skirmishes that take place in the vicinity of the ramp. In the plate, under the performance, a French caption in four verses. The Dutch caption of three columns, with a description of the events up to 20 October 1618 when the ramp was demolished and an explanation of the letters in the performance, is printed on a separate piece of paper and glued to the sheet with the representation.
