Menagerie in the courtyard of the inn of Jan Berentsz Westerhof or Blaauw Jan on the Kloveniersburgwal in Amsterdam in 1751: a court with an aviary in the middle with ostriches, peacocks, cassowaries, parrots and a raven. In the foreground a lion, panthers, monkeys and a young walrus. According to the explanation accompanying the print, these animals, as well as the Frisian dwarf Wybren Lolkes and the Finnish giant Daniel Cajanus, could also be admired here.
