Ten-angled porcelain plate, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in red, green, yellow, black and gold with bamboo stems and bound hedges at a flowering prunus tree containing a pheasant, with bamboo on the left and another pheasant, along the brown edge a band of leaf and flower motifs, on the back continuous leaf vines. The decoration on the glaze has disappeared from the top two-thirds part. Three proenes and a mark of an unidentified character in the foot ring. Old label on the underside with 'Collection Westendorp/ 136'. Kakiemon.
