Emperor Charles V sits on a throne, with an eagle between his feet. The eagle has in its beak a ring to which ropes are attached with which the conquered enemies of the emperor are bound. To the left of the throne are: Francis I, King of France, Pope Clement VII and the Turkish prince Süleyman I. On the right are the German Protestant princes Philip I, Landgrave of Hesse, the Elector of Saxony and William II, Duke of Guelders, Cleves, Jülich and Berg. The print has a Latin, Spanish and French caption and is part of a twelve-part series about the victories of Charles V.
