Entrance of the Western courtyard in 1923, 1923 Canvas Print

On the right view of part of a staircase as well as on the left a larger staircase with a door to the main house. On the right side of this staircase a wall with two rods on which buckets are hung. Above hangs a heater around which some corbels, keystones and medallions are arranged. The western courtyard, northeast corner. The stairs on the left, open the western courtyard from tower III. The stairs on the right is a connection with the underpass. (Have doors been sitting here?) The sculpture above the entrance (not to be seen in this photo) can still be partially found in the building. Fragments of the bluestone entrance staircase from tower VI can also be found. The western courtyard was originally intended for exhibiting gypsum models of monuments of history and art. In 1927, the management decided to allocate the courtyard to the preparation of crafts and to store the plaster models.
